The season is young, but so far Ramapo and Indian Hills girls and boys teams are faring well. Here's a recap of how they did this past week.
GIRLS TENNIS
Indian Hills stayed unbeaten at 5-0 with impressive wins over Pascack Valley, Wayne Valley and Paramus. In fact, the Lady Braves dropped just one game along the way.

Ramapo held tough against a formidable Ridgewood squad (25-22, 25-23). Kasey Woetzel had 10 kills, Michelle Barna 15 assists, and Samantha Szura 12 digs in the win.
Likewise, Indian Hills made quick time of Bergenfield with a 25-12, 25-11 victory. Taylor Grbelja had 11 kills and 10 digs, and Jewell Smolenski posted 17 assists.
GIRLS SOCCER
Ramapo 7, Ridgewood 2
Madie Dalie scored three times and Amanda Baumgarten chipped in with three assists for Ramapo in the one-sided contest. Ali Gilard and Gabby Henke split goalkeeper duties with six total saves.
CROSS COUNTRY
Boys
Indian Hills took the first five spots in the 15-50 win over Mahwah. Bobb Corcoran 17:52, Hee Tae An 17:52, Scott Savage 17:53, Adam Frank 17:53 and Andrew Kristofick 17:56 dominated for the Braves.
Ramapo's Troy Williams finsihed fifth in the loss against Fair Lawn.
Girls
Indian Hills topped Mahwah, 20-51, with the Lady Braves claiming the second through fifth finishes. Jamie Pepper 22:00.20, Krissie Gafney 22:02.54, Jamie Mangold 22:26.90, and Sydney Coughlin 22:41.25 excelled for the Lady Braves.
