- Members of the Wyckoff Township Committee traveled to Hackensack to to the Bergen County Open Space Advisory Board. The application is for grant fundsto acquire the privately owned, 26.5-acre lake property Maple Lake, located on Maple Drive in Wyckoff.
- , Wyckoff township committee member Brian Scanlan won the Democratic ticket easily with a total of 153 votes. Township committee member Thomas Madigan was the leading vote getter on the Republican ballot with 443 votes, followed by Douglas Christie with 434. Just 5 percent of Wyckoff's registered voters turned out at the polls.

The two organizations found themselves at odds during Monday's Township Committee meeting over a Friends of Wyckoff petition requesting a tweaking of the wording of Ordinance #1656, which would put a Public Question on the November ballot giving voters the opportunity to extend the existing annual tax levy to fund the Municipal Open Space Trust Fund for an additional five years.
