Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes Council Candidates For November Election

Charles J. X. Kahwaty and Thomas G. Lambrix will run unopposed for re-election to the Franklin Lakes council in the November general election.

They received 162 and 161 votes, respectively, in the primary election Tuesday.

In Wyckoff, Mayor Kevin Rooney will run for re-election to the council. He will be joined on the Republican ticket by Susan Yudin. Rooney received 234 votes, Yudin 207.

Board of Education trustee John Carolan was appointed to finish the term of Committeeman Douglas Christie on Monday. Carolan will serve on the committee for the rest of the year. Voters will decide who fills the seat in 2016 and 2017 in the General Election in November. Christie’s term expires in 2017.
