City of Albuquerque expands Inclusive Swim Hours (krqe.com) — Albuquerque is expanding free weekly Inclusive Swim Hours at Highland Pool, giving residents with disabilities and their caregivers a dedicated, less-crowded time to enjoy the water. Every Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. through May 2027, families can participate as long as guardians stay with those they support and follow pool safety rules.

New video of man accused of harassing APD officer and BCSO employee (kob.com) — An armed man is accused of threatening an Albuquerque Police Department officer and a Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office employee outside their Ventana Ranch home, and is now jailed until trial. Surveillance video captured the encounter, and a judge has temporarily restricted some of his firearms while prosecutors seek a longer-term order, citing concerns about community safety.

In Albuquerque, Pacific Fusion looks to build 'practical basis' for commercial fusion power (abqjournal.com subscription) — A billion-dollar Pacific Fusion campus is breaking ground at Mesa del Sol in Albuquerque, aiming to employ about 200 people and pursue commercially viable fusion power by 2030. State and city leaders have backed the project with bonds, incentives, and training funds, betting that local workers and Sandia-born technology can anchor a new clean-energy industry here.
