• Navajo Nation woman pleads guilty to shooting man in chest (tricityrecordnm.com) — Farmington’s FBI Resident Agency helped investigate a Navajo Nation woman who has now pleaded guilty to shooting a man in the chest in 2024. The 54-year-old admitted to two federal assault charges and faces up to 20 years in prison, plus supervised release and restitution. Federal prosecutors in New Mexico are handling the case.
