• A field of dreams for pollinators (gcmonline.com) — A once-barren patch at Los Alamos County Golf Course has been transformed into a colorful pollinator meadow through a partnership with local nonprofit Bee City Los Alamos. Volunteers and course staff replaced weeds with native grasses and wildflowers, boosting habitat for bees and other pollinators while changing the look and feel of several holes and inspiring plans for more visible roadside plantings. 
• Los Alamos Medical Center Awarded Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification (losalamosreporter.com) — Los Alamos residents now have a nationally certified Acute Stroke Ready Hospital right in town, as Los Alamos Medical Center has earned top recognition from The Joint Commission and American Stroke Association. The hospital underwent a rigorous onsite review and now offers 24/7 emergency stroke care, aiming to deliver faster, higher-quality treatment when every minute matters.
• NVIDIA CPU arrives at Los Alamos (newswise.com) — Los Alamos National Laboratory has installed its first NVIDIA Vera CPU system in the Darwin testbed, a key step toward future Mission, Vision, and Veritas supercomputers. Early testing will help optimize high-performance simulations and emerging AI workloads that underpin national security and advanced research work based in Los Alamos.
