• Flood waters recede, but some NM roads remain closed as of late Wednesday (kunm.org) — Access to Red River is currently cut off from the west, with State Road 38 closed between Questa and town after heavy flooding from former Hurricane Polo. Several other New Mexico highways remain shut and some communities farther south only just had evacuation orders lifted, so travelers should check NMRoads and avoid driving through flooded areas.
