Notice for Lead Action Level Exceedance at SIERRA Public Water System in Santa Fe County, NM (epa.gov) — If you get your drinking water from the SIERRA Public Water System in Santa Fe County, recent tests found elevated lead levels in at least 10% of sampled taps. Residents are urged to contact the system, consider testing their water and children’s blood, and follow EPA-recommended steps like using certified filters, flushing taps, and cleaning aerators to reduce exposure.

Road rage suspect, CPOA changes, Windy weather, Edgewood fire service, Stream access ruling (krqe.com) — Santa Fe County has finalized a new agreement to keep providing firefighting and EMS services to the Town of Edgewood, with the deal taking effect June 30. Route 66 Centennial traveling exhibit comes to Albuquerque, Gallup, Grants and Santa Fe (abqjournal.com subscription) — Santa Fe residents can catch the Route 66 Centennial Traveling Exhibit at the New Mexico History Museum from August 28–30, featuring stories tied to the city and other Route 66 communities.
