• New mural of pollinators' garden completed in Albion at Lockstone (orleanshub.com) — A new pollinator-themed mural now brightens the north side of The Lockstone at 160 North Main Street in Albion, adding bees, butterflies, and a hummingbird to downtown. Artist Justin Suarez, who previously painted two other Albion murals, used a state arts grant and says the village's warm welcome keeps drawing him back.
   

• Large area group on GCC soccer squad (orleanshub.com) — Three Albion graduates—Alison Gibson, McKinley Knight, and Mia Standish—are making their mark as freshman midfielders on the Genesee Community College women's soccer team. They join Holley's Alivia Wolf and other regional standouts on a squad that's off to a 6–3 start, with several locals already contributing goals and assists.
   

• Congresswoman Claudia Tenney rallies with local law enforcement over new immigration law (rochesterfirst.com) — Albion hosted a private roundtable where Rep. Claudia Tenney and several sheriffs criticized New York's new 'Local Cops, Local Crimes Act,' arguing it limits cooperation with federal immigration agents and threatens public safety. Gov. Kathy Hochul defends the law as keeping local police focused on local crimes and distancing them from aggressive federal immigration tactics.
