Queens’ Chip NYC Cookie Shop Has Just Made Astoria Sweeter

Chip NYC, the famous cookie shop which originated in Queens, has just made the borough sweeter by adding a shop in Ditmars, Astoria.

The grand opening of the new Chip NYC location occurred last week, on Thursday, October 4, with Chip adding another location at 22-04 33rd Street in Ditmars, Astoria.

The additional store would be the third Chip location in Queens, but the fourth location in New York. The company has also added a cookie shop on 14th Street in Manhattan and an ice cream shop at 41-01 31st Ave.

The signature warm and gooey cookies have become very popular within the Astoria and Long Island City residents since the company’s first store opening in July 2017. By revealing new and unexpected cookie flavors every week on the company's Instagram page, Chip has quickly gained a large fan base. Chip’s original location at 30-06 34th Street, is a small and intimate home of the shop’s delicious cookies, but the new store would help the company to accommodate the growing demand caused by an expanding fanbase.
