• Averill Park man accused of sexual assault in Vermont (news10.com) — A man from Averill Park has been arrested after Vermont State Police say he was accused of sexually assaulting a child at Dorset Quarry and linked to another allegation involving a 10-year-old in New York. He was taken into custody at the New York–Canada border and is expected to be turned over to New York State Police, then extradited to Vermont as the investigation continues.
