#86: Yoga at the Beach
This installment of Patch's guide to what to do in Babylon is a guaranteed stress-buster.

If an early morning hour at the ocean itself doesn't cure what ails you, try adding in some deep breathing, meditative mind-clearing, and a sun salutation or two.
Yoga at the beach combines two of the most potent calming strategies any town could offer, and you still have a couple of weeks left of summer to try out the Town of Babylon's Gilgo Beach yoga series.
Classes are held Saturday at 9 a.m. and Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. The registration-only sessions have proven popular and are being held for the sixth consecutive year. Bring your own mats, towels, water, and sunscreen.
Registration is online at the Town of Babylon recreation website or in person at Phelps Lane. A class costs $15 for town residents and $17 for non-residents.
