WEST ISLIP, NY — The front-line workers at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip got a special pizza party courtesy of a Babylon pizzeria to celebrate National Pizza Party Day this week. Gino’s Pizza of Babylon, who recently lost a longtime delivery driver in a fatal crash this month, put together a social-distant pizza party on Wednesday complete with music provided by DJ Phil and DJ Scott from Make Some Noise DJs and food for more than 300 doctors, nurses, and staff.

"As a community-oriented business, we felt that we needed to do our part to show our appreciation for the local heroes taking care of us at Good Samaritan Hospital during these challenging times," James Rocco, Owner of Gino’s Pizza of Babylon said. "We were proud to partner with Concepts Agency Group, The Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, and Northwestern Mutual to hopefully bring a smile to the staff at Good Sam’s faces, if just for an hour."
