Leg. Horsley Honors New Eagle Scouts

Two Boy Scouts were recently honored by Legislator Wayne Horsley for achieving the Eagle Scout Award – the highest honor a scout can receive.

The legislator recently honored Galen Merigliano of Babylon Village and Ethan Penny of Lindenhurst for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. Merigliano mapped, marked and blazer a six-mile loop for walking, running and biking to promote outdoor fitness for his Eagle project while Penny rehabilitated a Veterans Memorial that had fallen into disrepair.

Leg. Horsley presented both new Eagle Scouts with proclamations to acknowledge the occasion.
