Man Killed By Train at Babylon Station
An East Meadow resident was hit by a empty train early Saturday morning.

A 24-year-old man was killed by a train at the Babylon train station early Saturday morning, according to a Long Island Rail Road spokeswoman.
Kevin Lherisson, of East Meadow, reportedly fell on the tracks and was hit by an empty train heading to New York at about 3 a.m., according to the LIRR.
The body was discovered underneath the platform by a LIRR customer who then notified a Babylon train station worker.

Following the incident the crew and equipment related to the train were removed from service as the MTA investigates the incident, a spokesperson said.
