Motorcyclist Killed After 95-Year-Old Driver Cuts Him Off: Police

A 23-year-old man was killed in the Suffolk County crash Sunday afternoon, police say.

WEST BABYLON, NY – A 23-year-old man was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a car in West Babylon Sunday afternoon, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, Stevenson Jean was traveling north on Straight Path near the intersection of 15th Street at about 3:40 p.m. when his 2006 Honda motorcycle crashed into a 2016 Honda Accord that was heading south on Straight Path and attempting to make a lefthand turn onto 15th Street.

Jean, of West Babylon, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda, 95-year-old Joseph Bisceglie, of West Babylon, was also transported to Good Samaritan with unspecified injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
