Police Release Surveillance Photos of Attempted Suffolk Bank Robbery
The robbery occurred earlier this month.
Police have released surveillance photos of an attempted Amityville bank robbery that occurred Saturday, Dec. 3.
According to authorities, a man entered Citibank, located at 241 Broadway, and handed the teller a note demanding cash at 12:45 p.m. The man fled the bank without any proceeds.
Police described the robber as black, in his late forties, approximately 6 feet tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a gray beard, and wearing a beige bucket hat, black coat and silver glasses.
