Public Hearing Monday on Proposed Village Budget

Public comment will be heard at 7 p.m. at village hall.

The Babylon Village Board will hold a public hearing on its tentative budget on April 2 at 7 p.m. at village hall, with the annual organization meeting following the hearing.

Residents can review the budget at the clerk’s office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The budget does not include any compensation increase for village board or mayor positions. The current salary for trustees is $7,500 and $15,000 for the mayor.
