UPDATE: Babylon Man Charged With Robbing Suffolk County Bank a Half-Hour After Trying to Rob Another: Police

A Babylon man was arrested on Tuesday for attempting to rob a bank in Bay Shore and robbing a Holbrook bank last month, according to Suffolk Police.

Michael Mirasoli, 41, was charged with robbing the Bank of America in Holbrook and attempting to rob the Chase bank in Bay Shore within a half-hour of each other on November 14, police said.

He was charged with third degree robbery and third degree attempted robbery, police said.

Mirasoli was held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on December 7.
