Variance, Building Use on Appeals Board Agenda

The village zoning board of appeals will hear three applications at its monthly meeting tomorrow night.

The Babylon Village Board of Appeals will hold public hearings on three requests regarding building use at its meeting Wednesday night.

 The first is a request  by landowner Saniye Haci to use the second and third floors of 45 Deer Park Avenue as apartments. The first floor is currently occupied by the Country Peddler - Gifts/Home store.

Thomas and Sabrina Breitfeller are asking for permission to maintain a medical office on the first floor and a financial advisor office on the second floor at 60 Little East Neck Road. The applicants are the sole members of Samot Realty, which also operates at that location.

Valerie Basile is asking for permission to build an addition to 34 South Carll Avenue and is requesting a variance on the minimum side yard setback from the required 15 feet to 11.9 feet.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 at the village hall.
