A 19-year-old Long Islander's video of gorgeous summer scenes on the island has been shared thousands of times on social media.

In case you forgot how beautiful Long Island is, Austin Prendergast is here to remind you.

The 19-year-old West Babylon resident recently posted a video of the sites across Long Island on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The video shows gorgeous summer scenes from areas including Montauk, Fire Island, Robert Moses State Park and Mattituck.

"I made this film because I wanted to show the beauty this Island we live on has to offer and how lucky we are to live here," Prendergast told Patch.

As of Tuesday, the video had been shared over 3,000 times on Twitter.
