West Babylon Woman Charged With Nassau Burglary: Police

The 30-year-old was found hiding in a bush, police said.

FARMINGDALE, NY - A Bay Shore man and a West Babylon woman were arrested for burglarizing a Farmingdale home on Friday night, according to Nassau Police.

A 65-year-old woman returned to her Main Street home at about 8:05 p.m. when she saw two shadows and screamed, police said.

The woman’s friend who had dropped her off called the police.

Two officers on routine patrol near by responded and searched the area.

Officers found 21-year-old Steven Morrow and 30-year-old Alissa Colascione hiding in bushes on Bethpage Road, police said.

They were placed under arrest at 8:15 p.m. without further incident.

Jewelry and cash from the house was recovered at the time of arrest. Also two pair of handcuffs and duct tape were also recovered, police said.

Both are being charged with second degree burglary, according to police.
