2 People Trapped After Crashing Into Fence In Bay Shore

Firefighters rescued the two people who became trapped after the crash early Monday.

BAY SHORE, NY - Firefighters rescued two people trapped after a car crashed into a fence in Bay Shore early Monday.

Suffolk Police confirmed the single-car crash was reported on 5th Avenue and Ackerson Boulevard at about 12:45 a.m.

There were three people inside the car and two were stuck inside.

Members of the Suffolk County Police, Bay Shore Fire Department and Bay Shore-Brightwaters ambulance helped to extricate both people.

Rescuers had to remove the left side doors and push the dashboard forward in order to safely remove the people.

The extent of their injuries is unclear.
