Man Killed In Suffolk Crash Between Pickup, Utility Truck: SCPD
The fatal crash occurred on Thursday afternoon.
BAY SHORE, NY - A Bellport man was killed in a crash between a pickup truck and a utility truck in Bay Shore on Thursday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
Gilbert Lollis, 53, was driving a 2013 Chevy utility truck westbound on Union Boulevard when his vehicle collided with a 1990 Ford pickup truck that was traveling northbound on Saxon Avenue at 1:15 p.m.
Lollis was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the pick-up, 63-year-old John Harris, of Brentwood was transported to Southside Hospital where he was treated and released.
Safety checks will be performed on both vehicles.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
