Man Stole $10K In Items From JCPenney On 11 Occasions: Cops
The 63-year-old is expected to be charged with additional counts of petty larceny and trespass, possibly dating back to 2015, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY - A Bay Shore man was arrested on Wednesday for committing a string of larcenies from a store in Bay Shore this year, according to Suffolk Police.
Following a several month investigation, 63-year-old Karl Holmes was charged for numerous thefts of home goods items from JC Penney on 1701 Sunrise Highway, police said.
The thefts totaled $10,000.

Holmes was taken into custody by officers for an outstanding parole violation warrant, police said.
While running a background check on Holmes, the officers discovered he was wanted as a suspect in the larcenies, police said.

Holmes was charged with 11 counts of petty larceny, trespass and a parole violation.
The investigation is ongoing and it is expected Holmes will be charged with numerous additional counts of petty larceny and trespass, possibly dating back to 2015, police said.
Holmes is being held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
