• Chick-fil-A says long-awaited Bay Shore location is still a go (greaterlongisland.com) — Bay Shore residents waiting on the promised Chick-fil-A at the old TGI Fridays site by South Shore Mall now have confirmation the project is still moving forward, though no timeline is set. The company says it's actively working with local officials on a Bay Shore location that could eventually bring 80 to 120 jobs and community-focused support programs.
