The Center for the Women of New York to Host Fifth Annual Taste of the World Fundraiser

The Center for the Women of New York (CWNY) is proud to announce its fifth annual Taste of the World fundraiser, taking place on the scenic front lawn at Fort Totten on Tuesday, September 15, 2025, from 6:00–8:30 p.m.
This festive evening brings the Queens community together to enjoy international cuisine from local restaurants and experience lively performances by Batala and Chuñomar, all while supporting the empowerment of women across New York City. All proceeds from Taste of the World directly support CWNY’s programs, which focus on education (EducateHer), workforce development (EmployHer), empowerment (EmpowerHer), and overall well-being for women (EmbraceHer).
“Each year, Taste of the World brings our community together in an extraordinary way,” said Cecilia Venosta, Executive Director of CWNY. “We’re thrilled to welcome both new and familiar faces for an evening of exceptional food, vibrant music, and meaningful connection, all in support of empowering women and creating lasting, positive change in their lives.”
CWNY envisions a future where all New York women can pursue their passions and achieve financial independence in a safe and supportive environment.
