22-Year-Old Shot And Killed Outside His Home In Bed-Stuy: Cops
It is the second fatal shooting in 24 hours in the neighborhood and the third this week in North Brooklyn.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 22-year-old man was shot and killed outside his home in Bed-Stuy on Thursday, police said.
Cops found Shyhiem McLean with multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and torso outside a home on Chauncey Street near Malcolm X Boulevard just after 4:30 p.m., police said. McLean was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting happened outside McLean's home, records show.

It is the second fatal shooting in Bed-Stuy in just 24 hours and at least the third in North Brooklyn this week.
In Bed-Stuy, 28-year-old man died after being shot on Herkimer Street on Wednesday. Six people were also shot in Prospect Lefferts Gardens just an hour after the Bed-Stuy shooting. One of those victims, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead, police said.
