Brooklyn Drug Dealer Took 20 Tabs of Acid Before Wild Police Chase

Samuel Bompane is looking at 16 years behind bars.

Williamsburg resident Samuel Bompane, 23, took New Jersey State Troopers on the car chase of their lives back in April.

With the officers on his tail, Bompane reportedly drove his car 100 miles north up the Garden State Parkway — and through a construction zone — at speeds up to 100 mph.

Once he’d crossed the county line between Ocean County and Monmouth County, Bompane crashed his Altima into a guardrail. He careened into the SUV of a 32-year-old Bloomfield woman, causing it to flip.

According to Monmouth County prosecutors, the victim’s arm was fractured so severely that her bone was sticking out of her skin.

Prosecutors say Bompane was transporting one half-ounce of cocaine, over five pounds of marijuana and over an ounce of shrooms in his car at the time.

(Directly after the crash, though, police said they’d found more than 10 pounds of marijuana, 80 pounds of marijuana candy, hashish oil, prescription drugs, and a variety of drug paraphernalia including scales, currency counters, plastic bags and smoking pipes.)

Now, Bompane, who lives on Devo Street in Williamsburg, has admitted in court that he’d taken 20 tabs of acid earlier in the day.

He admitted that “he was under the influence of the LSD while eluding and causing the crash,” prosecutors say.

Bompane will plead guilty to second-degree eluding, third-degree assault by auto, second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and driving while intoxicated.

As part of Bompane’s plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend he spend 16 years in New Jersey state prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 4.

A Facebook page that appears to belong to Bompane says his favorite films include Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas and Trainspotting.
