Spitting Mad Bus Passenger Attacks Driver With Saliva: Police

The outraged B25 passenger is the second man in the past year to express his outrage at his bus driver with spit, according to police.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the enraged man who spit on his bus driver and fled.

The spitting mad passenger began yelling at his B25 bus driver near Fulton Street and Franklin Avenue at about 6 p.m. on March 8, police said.

Suddenly the man spat in the driver’s face, jumped off the bus and ran away, said police.

The 64-year-old driver was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was examined and later released, police said.

This is the second time in a year someone has expressed outrage at a B25 bus driver with spit. A ticked-off rider spit on a bus driver and whacked her with his cane when she made him get off her bus last August.

Police are now looking for the suspect, whom they describe as a man standing 5-foot 8-inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds.
