2 Pound Ridge Golfers Help Aquarium Raise Funds

POUND RIDGE, NY — Two Pound Ridge men helped to raise a record $160,000 for the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. The fundraiser, held Sept. 11, was the seventh annual Maritime Golf Classic.

The event took place at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, CT.

The participants from Pound Ridge were Clay Fowler and Bob Benjamin.

Proceeds from the event, in which 96 area business professional participated, will go to support the aquarium’s environmental-education programing.
