An American Tradition Continues
RSO Brass Quintet to Perform at Lasdon Park in Katonah July 24th
What could be more American than an evening concert in the park? Visions of gazebos, lively music wafting through the soft summer air and special moments shared with family and friends all come to mind.
Outdoor summer concerts truly are an American institution, and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra is proud to uphold this time-honored seasonal tradition as the RSO Brass Quintet performs on Friday, July 24th, 6:30 pm, at Lasdon Park, 2610 Amawalk Road (Route 35) in Katonah.
Performing a potpourri of light classical and popular favorites, the RSO Brass Quintet’s program will be sure to please all musical tastes. Led by Principal Trumpet John Charles Thomas, member of the Grammy winning Chestnut Brass, the five members of the quintet have performed internationally with some of the world’s great orchestras as well as in the “pit” for numerous Broadway shows.
