• Naked Man At I-684 Rest Area Is Arrested: New York State Police (patch.com) — A Connecticut man was arrested after state troopers found him naked and apparently impaired at the Bedford service area on I-684, where they also discovered multiple drugs in his vehicle. He was arraigned in Town of Bedford Court on felony and misdemeanor charges and is due back in court on September 30.
   

• Firefighters battle Bedford Hills blaze (halstonmedia.com) — Bedford Hills firefighters quickly contained a two-alarm kitchen fire in a multifamily home on Rome Avenue, preventing flames from spreading beyond the original apartment and avoiding any injuries. Multiple nearby departments, including Bedford and Katonah units, provided mutual aid and medical support, while the Red Cross assisted displaced residents and county investigators continue to probe the cause.
