• Multifamily building proposed for Bedford Hills (westfaironline.com) — A developer is seeking approval to build The Mark II, a four-story, 12-unit apartment building on Adams Street in Bedford Hills, with two income-restricted units and on-site parking. The Town of Bedford Planning Board is reviewing the transit-oriented project, which would sit near the Bedford Hills train station and local shops and add modern amenities like EV chargers and bike storage.
   

• Anthony (Buzz) Joseph Buzzanco, 82, of Bedford (therecorder.org) — A longtime Bedford resident, Anthony "Buzz" Buzzanco, 82, has died, leaving behind deep ties to the community through his tree service business and conservation work at Westmoreland Nature Sanctuary. He devoted decades to environmental preservation, including donating his large St. Lawrence River property for university wetland research, and is survived by family including a son still living in Bedford.
   

• Booth House in Bedford, New York by Philip Johnson architect (e-architect.com) — An iconic Philip Johnson-designed home in Bedford is beginning a careful restoration under a new firm, RnD, led by architect Drew Lang and builder Ravi Arps. The project aims to modernize Booth House while preserving its historic modernist character and close relationship to Bedford's wooded landscape, before eventually returning it to the market for a future resident.
