Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse Over 400 Kids Strong

Via Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse:

Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse is excited to kick off it’s 21st season with over 400 girls and boys in grades 1 – 8 enjoying the fastest growing sport in the USA. Formerly known as Bedford Youth Lacrosse, the program changed its name in 2010 to Fox Lane Youth Lacrosse to make it clearer that we are open to all children living in the Bedford Central school district.

FLYL is expanding participation in growing parts of the Bedford Central school district, like Mt. Kisco, and they will be sponsoring an later this spring to make affordable equipment available to kids. FLYL welcomes beginners and experienced players and offers instruction in fundamental and advanced skills and team concepts. The program fields several teams in each age group in order to provide the appropriate level of competition for all of its participants.

FLYL's excellent coaching staff includes many former college players, All Americans and NCAA Champions. Coaches receive first aid and CPR training and every team is equipped with an AED in case of emergency.

FLYL is a “kids first” program that places emphasis on “fun and fundamentals”.  Fox Lane Youth lacrosse is continuing to build a tradition of excellence. The hard work put in by the kids and coaches has paid dividends at the Div 1 and 3 college levels, with Fox Lane youth alumni recently gaining admission to play lacrosse at UMASS, Ithaca College, Franklin & Marshall, Bates, Trinity College, Cornell, North Carolina, Ohio Sate and Williams.
