Bostwick propels Jay's quick start

John Jay's ice-hockey squad is off to a fast start as it has won five of its first six games.

Leading the Indians offensively is Frazier Bostwick who has 11 goals and five assists for a total of 16 points. Bostwick is the team leader in each category.

Foxes finish in finals

Fox Lane's wrestling squad placed second in the Section 1 Dual Meet, which concluded Dec. 14 at North Rockland High School.

The Foxes defeated North Rockland 40-30 in the semifinals and lost in the finals to Brewster 36-31.

Winter classic

The Mites and Squirts of the Bedford Bears Youth Hockey program have the opportunity to win a chance to travel to Philadelphia with their family to see the New York Rangers take on the Flyers in the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic at 1 p.m. Jan. 2.
