It's quite simple for an opponent when it plays : If you put Indian's foul shooting ace Raegan Knox on the line, the ball will go through the net.

That was the case once again in John Jay's most recent game.

Led by 22 points from Knox, which included 9 of 9 from the foul line, John Jay's girls hoop squad defeated visiting Walter Panas 63-32 Dec. 20.

Teammates Sydney Glenn and Delaney Spencer registered eight points apiece for the host.

Jay wins in boys hoops

John Jay used a well-balanced attack to defeat visiting North Salem 64-49 Dec. 21. 

Matt Ferentini led John Jay with 22 points with teammate Brad Goldman contributing 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Tommy Weingarden contributed 11 points and six assists for the Tribe.

Fox Lane's wrestling squad continues to receive just praise as it is this week's No. 1 team in the MSG Varsity poll.
