Local ice-hockey rankings
John Jay is No. 5 with rival Fox Lane recently joining the LoHud Hockey Blog's poll as its No. 8 team in the Division II rankings.
Lacrosse finals return to White Plains
If the John Jay or Fox Lane boys lacrosse teams participate in one of the Section 1 boys championship games this school year, their teams won't have to travel to Rockland County.
That's because after being held at the Suffern Middle School Sports Complex in 2011, the games are returning to White Plains High School here in Westchester in the spring of '12 after a one-year hiatus.
