Myer and Rosenthal Finish First: Bedford-Katonah Daily Sports Digest, Feb. 7

Fox Lane dominates

For 's wrestling squad, it was a day of domination at the Division 1 divisionals at Harrison Feb. 4 as nine of its wrestlers came home with first-place finishes.

They were Brandon Fay (99 pounds), Nick Engert (106), Frank Surace (113), Sam Speno (126), Danny Ventura (132), Tom Grippi (138), Matt Pasqualini (160) and Dan Clune (220).

JJ duo wins

John Jay's grapplers also competed at Harrison and came away with two champions.

They were Declan Myer (170) and Mike Rosenthal (182).

Skiing teams win

Both the North Salem/John Jay boys and girls skiing squads each finished 8-0 campaigns with victories Feb. 2 in their final races of the regular season at Thunder Ridge.

The boys, with a time of 178.94, defeated Fox Lane (180.73), Brewster (203.49) and Mahopac (217.39).

The girls, with time of 151.37, won against Fox Lane (169.83), Brewster (176.02) and Mahopac (217.06).
