LoHud's Vincent Mercogliano evidently never rests in search of a great story as he is going right from the wrestling campaign to the baseball one.

One of his first assignments for the spring season was visiting last year’s Section 1 Class AA baseball finalist, Fox Lane.

College Baseball

Freshman catcher Mark Swertfager (John Jay '11) is a member of the Marist College baseball team.

Swertfager has a .286 batting average in seven at-bats for the Dutchess County based-squad.
