Bedford's West Patent School Closed For Thursday

BEDFORD HILLS, NY — The Bedford school district said that West Patent Elementary School is closed for Thursday, Jan. 31. School officials said that the boiler isn't working, and there is no heat in the school.

All other schools were on a two-hour delay.

For safety, the buses will completed the routes, telling parents and children that WPES was closed.

If children were unattended, the drivers asked if anyone was at their home. If there wasn't, the child was taken to school and the parent was called to come pick them up.
