Bhangra Night! Dancing at Dusk

Fasten your seat belts! The incredible Reena Shah is coming to Caramoor to lead a dynamic, all-ages Bhangra night for Dancing at Dusk! Bhangra has come a long way from its humble beginnings in India and is now recognized and enjoyed the world over. Originating from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan, its earliest form was as a celebratory folk dance to welcome the coming of Spring. In the past 30 years Bhangra has evolved, integrating into popular South Asian culture after being mixed with hip-hop, house and reggae styles of music. Join us for an unforgettable evening as the Friends Field comes alive at this captivating event!
