Bedford Historical Society presents "Profiles in Preservation: Notes from the Field" an evening featuring renowned preservationists discussing the challenges of historic preservation for the private sector and non-profit organizations including strategies to keep preservation valued within the community as well as the integration of emerging digital technologies in today's preservation efforts. Panelists will include Raymond Pepi, Founder and President of Building Conservation Assoc; Ruth Taylor, Executive Director of the Newport Historical Society, Willliam Tramposch, Executive Director of the Nantucket Historical Association, and Franklin Vagnone of the Historic House Trust. The discussion will be moderated by architect Peter Pennoyer who is recognized for his firm's restoration of significant historic buildings across the country.
A wine and cheese reception will be followed by the annual meeting and panel discussion. Historical Hall is located at 608 Old Post Rd. on the Village Green. Members free, non-members $25.
