This one day workshop will introduce students to the basic strokes and philosophy of Sumi-e (ink and water) Chinese brush painting. This beginner class will cover the handling of brushes, ink, and paper as well as basic strokes, compositions, shading methods, and color-washing techniques. Advanced registration is required as space is limited . Please bring your own lunch.
