The next selection for the Katonah Musueum's Book Club is Teju Cole’s Open City, a meditative tale narrated by a Nigerian immigrant who wanders the streets of Manhattan, crisscrossing various physical and social landscapes. On his city walks, he ponders everything from the paintings of Goya and the novels of J.M. Coetzee to the bankruptcy of Tower Records and the rise of the bedbug epidemic.
