Fox Lane Announces Class of 2022 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Fox Lane High School is proud to announce Valedictorian Sebastien Schonfeld and Salutatorian Corinne Wierzchowski for the Class of 2022

Fox Lane High School is proud to announce Valedictorian Sebastien Schonfeld and Salutatorian Corinne Wierzchowski for the Class of 2022!
Sebastien Schonfeld
Academic, athletic, creative and selfless pursuits are all part of Sebastien’s everyday life. Seb’s guidance counselor describes him as incredibly humble, not consumed by grades and very motivated by a deep and uncomplicated desire to learn. He is a standout in our STEM classes as well as history, language and humanities. He is an integral member of the track team and is an outstanding captain and role model. He is also a competitive rock climber. Sebi recently completed a year of volunteering at Westmoreland Sanctuary and is extremely committed to sustainability and environmental causes. Sebastien has not yet decided which college he will attend next fall.

Accomplishments you are most proud of: Cross County champions, 2021. Winter track – qualified for nationals in 4x mile relay with Harry, Noah and Bruce
Who is the most influential person(s) in your life? Why? My parents, grandparents, coach and friends because they’ve all been people to look up to.

What is your favorite Fox Lane memory? Track and cross country
What are you looking forward to after high school? Traveling to new places
Corinne Wierzchowski
As an ex-pat who has lived overseas for much of her young life, Corinne has had the opportunity to experience many other cultures. This has helped her gain a broader set of experiences along with a global perspective. Her guidance counselor states “she has become a master of transitions.” Corinne excels across a variety of disciplines but she is particularly passionate with regards to her interests in STEM. She is an accomplished athlete – breaking the FLHS long-standing record and winning Sectionals in the high jump and is the captain of the Varsity Volleyball team as well. Corinne is still exploring her college options and has not made a decision yet for the fall.
Anticipated Major: Engineering
Accomplishments that you are most proud of: Academic accomplishments, high jump record, early math track
Who is the most influential person(s) in your life? Why? My parents. They shaped my values, drive for success, helped/encouraged me to take risks and face challenges
What is your favorite Fox Lane memory? Attending school events and sports with the Fox Lane community
What are you looking forward to after high school? Independence and responsibility. Finding practical applications for my knowledge
