Baseball
Fox Lane baseball suffered its first defeat of the season, a 14-2 loss on Tuesday to the rival John Jay Indians. The Foxes had received excellent pitching all season up until this game. It wouldn't be long before Fox Lane returned to their winning ways, however, in a 13-6 win over Byram Hills Thursday. The Foxes currently stand at 8-1 on the season.

Softball
Fox Lane's softball team remained unbeaten this week to currently stand at 9-0. The first win this week was a 13-9 victory over John Jay. Byram Hills was the next opponent and the Foxes easily put the Bobcats away in an 18-3 victory behind four RBIs from Jenna D'Adamo and three from Christy Lombardi.

Boys Lacrosse
The Fox Lane boys lacrosse team was victorious in all of its games this week. The Foxes narrowly put away Putnam Valley in overtime and beat Pleasantville 5-4, handing the Panthers their first loss of the season. They then coasted to a 9-2 victory over Byram Hills Thursday to currently stand at 8-1 on the season.
Girls Lacrosse
Fox Lane's girls lacrosse remained undefeated, winning its only game this week. The Foxes beat the Horace Greeley Quakers 19-8 at home for a 10-game winning streak and 10-0 record. Lindsay Toppe led the Foxes with eight goals during the game. Sammy Jo Tracy also had major contributions scoring six goals.
JOHN JAY INDIANS
Baseball
John Jay baseball earned bragging rights over Fox Lane on Tuesday in a 14-2 defeat behind seven RBIs from Tyler Curry. The Indians then beat Rye 10-6 in a come-from-behind victory for a two0game winning streak. John Jay is 9-2 this season.
Softball
John Jay softball lost to the Foxes, 13-9, but bounced back the next day crushing Rye 22-5 behind four RBIs from Laura Eidam. The Indians are now 2-6 on the season and host Rye Thursday.
Boys Lacrosse
John Jay's boys lacrosse continued its great play this season with three wins last week to improve to 9-1. John Jay's first win was a 6-5 edger over Corning East High School on Saturday. The Indians then beat Byram Hills in an 11-6 victory Tuesday behind four goals from Mike Daniello. This was followed by an 8-4 win over Rye on Thursday. John Jay next plays at rival Somers Tuesday.
Girls Lacrosse
John Jay girls lacrosse have also been on a roll since a loss to Fox Lane. The Indians are currently on a four-game winning streak for an 8-1 record. Casey Bocklet led the Indians with seven goals in a 15-7 victory over Bronxville. Mallory Grimm scored six. Veronica Brady had 13 saves in goal as the Quakers finished out the week 22-12 over Pleasantville. Grimm tallied another six goals in the win.
