Here's a look at high school sports in Bedford and Katonah.

FOX LANE FOXES
Baseball
Fox Lane baseball won two out of three games this week to currently stand at 9-3. After being blanked, 10-0 by Lakeland, the Foxes bounced back to beat Byram Hills, 8-3, on Monday behind three RBI from Donny Castaldo and two from Steven Schneer. Jesse Hunt then had two RBIs in a close 8-7 victory Tuesday. The Foxes look to keep the momentum going at Yorktown Monday.

Softball
Fox Lane softball suffered its first two defeats of the season against Harrison this week, 17-7 on Tuesday and 11-0 Wednesday to currently stand at 11-2. The Foxes also had two wins this week, 17-1 over Byram Hills and 8-7 against John F. Kennedy Catholic High School.

Boys Lacrosse
Fox Lane's boys lacrosse team had an up and down week. It began with an 11-5 defeat to Suffern Monday but ended in an 8-6 victory over Briarcliff behind two goals and two assists from Connor Morris. John Horner had two goals and an assist in his first game back from a rib injury. Harrison is next up on Tuesday.
Girls Lacrosse
Fox Lane's girls lacrosse team is currently on a three-game losing streak but is not as bad as one might think. Fox Lane lost to Pleasantville,18-7, Monday, which was followed by a tough19-10 loss at John Jay Wednesday. The Foxes then played much better in a close loss Saturday at New Canaan (Conn.). Lindsay Toppe led the Foxes with five goals and one assist on the day.
JOHN JAY INDIANS
Baseball
John Jay Baseball gained two more victories on the season this past week for an improved record of 11-2 after sweeping the Port Chester Rams 8-7, Wednesday and shutting them out in the second game 9-0 behind three RBIs from Dean Lambert. The Indians look to keep the streak going Tuesday at Horace Greeley.
Softball
John Jay Softball is currently on a three-game winning streak. After sweeping Rye, 22-5, and 18-3 respectively, the Indians crushed Port Chester 19-4 behind one RBI each from Paige Garafalo, Victoria Gullen, Sarah Masterson, Jesse Mosello, and Maddy Silverstein to stand at 5-6. The Indians hope to extend the streak to four games when they host Horace Greeley Tuesday.
Boys Lacrosse
The John Jay boys lacrosse team had another great week improving to 11-1 on the season this week with a 12-8 victory over Syosset on Saturday and a 12-6 win over Somers on Monday. Brendan Morris, Forrest Walter, Jake Weil, and Tom Beck each scored one goal against Syosset with Robert Maher saving six shots. Fletcher Franklin saved 12 against Somers
Girls Lacrosse
John Jay girls lacrosse also did well extending its winning streak to six games for an 11-1 record on the season. Victories included a 22-20 nerve-racking win over Rye on Monday followed by a 19-10 defeat over the Fox Lane Foxes that put them in a tie for the league championship. Casey Bocklet led the Indians with eight goals on the day against the Foxes. John Jay looks to obtain win number twelve when it hosts Walter Panas Monday.
