Harvey vs. Stamford

On Wednesday, February 8th the Harvey Boys’ Varsity Basketball team visited Stamford Academy. The first half was close and competitive. Harvey was able to open up a double digit lead in the second half spearheaded by their strong defensive play.
The Cavaliers were able to hold off Stamfords' comeback attempt. The final was Harvey 72, Stamford 49. Harvey was led by senior Aaron McBurnie who scored a team high 19 points. Harvey also got strong contributions from guards Ricky Hicks and Luidgi Lezeau who each had 9 points.
Harvey vs. Watkinson
On February 11th the Harvey Boys’ Varsity Basketball team travelled to The Watkinson School. Harvey was able to jump out on Watkinson early and never looked back.
Harvey led 34 to 16 at halftime. Watkinson fought throughout the second half, but was unable to catch the Cavaliers. The final was Harvey 60, Watkinson 45. Harvey was led by Junior Julien Higgs who had a game high 25 points.
Harvey vs. St. Lukes
On Monday, February 13th the Harvey Boys’ Varsity Basketball team visited St. Lukes. The game was a battle throughout. The first half went back and forth with several lead changes. Harvey closed out the half on a run and was able to go up by 11.
St. Lukes fought back in the second half and was able to take a lead that they would not relinquish. St. Lukes ended up winning the game. The final was 72-57. Harvey was led by Freshmen Ricky Hicks who had 15 points. Julien Higgs and Aaron McBurnie gave great contributions each scoring 14 points.
