Hazardous Weather Outlook For Parts Of Hudson Valley

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for some parts of the region.

The National Weather Service has issued the following hazardous weather outlook for parts of the Hudson Valley:

A low pressure system moving across from Sunday night into Monday night may bring periods of heavy rain capable of causing areal urban flooding.

The outlook is for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. The mid-Hudson Valley has been spared, so far.

Winds could also become an issue, mainly along the coast, the NWS says.

Before we get to that nasty weather, though, we get a couple perfect spring days. Sunny skies and highs in the 70s are on tap Friday and Saturday through out the Hudson Valley.

"We expect back-and-forth rounds of warmth and chill through much of the balance of April," AccuWeather Lead Long-Range Meteorologist Paul Pastelok says. "There could be a round of snow showers around April 18 or 19."
